The Brambles, located in Virginia’s rural Mathews County, is family-owned and operated and dedicated to serving the needs of intellectually disabled (ID) adults and adults with Autism. The Brambles focuses on the complete living experience for ID adults, offering custom-designed residential group homes on acres of land, a newly expanded day support center in the town of Mathews, and a recently updated transportation services for residents and day support attendees utilizing a fleet of handicap accessible Mercedes vans.

The Brambles is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and not only meets, but exceeds all government regulations, offering the highest quality living arrangements and 24/7 care for our group home residents.  The Brambles accepts Virginia Medicaid, Virginia Medicaid waivers and private payment.
